How It Works​

When you upload audio to a tag:

  1. Upload - Add an audio file to your tag
  2. Processing - tagd-ai sends audio to transcription service
  3. Transcription - Speech is converted to text
  4. Indexing - Text becomes searchable with AI Search

Automatic Transcription​

Audio transcription happens automatically when you upload supported audio files:

  • MP3
  • WAV
  • M4A
  • WEBM
  • OGG
  • AAC
  • FLAC

What Gets Transcribed​

  • Spoken words in the recording
  • Multiple speakers (where detectable)
  • Various languages

File Limits​

  • Maximum size: 25MB per file
  • No length limit: Process any duration under size limit
  • Larger files should be split before upload
