Creating an Account

Get started with tagd-ai by creating your free account.

Sign Up Options​

Email Sign Up​

  1. Go to tagd-ai.com
  2. Click Sign Up in the top right
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Create a strong password
  5. Click Create Account
  6. Check your email for verification link
  7. Click the link to verify

Requirements​

Email:

  • Must be valid and accessible
  • Used for account recovery
  • Receives notifications

Password:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Include uppercase and lowercase
  • Include at least one number
  • Avoid common passwords

Email Verification​

Why Verify?​

Email verification:

  • Confirms you own the email
  • Enables password recovery
  • Required for some features
  • Protects your account

Verification Process​

  1. Check your inbox for "Verify your tagd-ai account"
  2. Click the verification link
  3. You're redirected to tagd-ai with confirmation
  4. Account is now fully active

Didn't Receive Email?​

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Wait a few minutes
  3. Click Resend verification email
  4. Try a different email if issues persist
  5. Contact support@tagd-ai.com

First Login​

After Verification​

  1. Go to tagd-ai.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Enter your email and password
  4. Click Sign In
  5. You're taken to your dashboard

Welcome Tour​

On first login:

  1. Optional guided tour of features
  2. Create your first tag
  3. Explore the dashboard
  4. Configure initial settings

Account Information​

What You Need​

During sign up, you provide:

  • Email - Required, for login and communications
  • Password - Required, keep it secure

Optional later:

  • Display name
  • Profile picture
  • Phone number (for recovery)

Privacy​

Your email is:

  • Never shared with third parties
  • Not visible to other users (unless you share)
  • Used only for account and product communications

Account Types​

Free Account​

Includes:

  • Up to 10 tags
  • 100 MB storage
  • Basic analytics
  • QR code generation
  • Standard support

Pro Account​

Upgrade for:

  • Unlimited tags
  • 1 GB storage
  • Advanced analytics
  • API access
  • Priority support

Organization Accounts​

Join an Organization​

If invited to an organization:

  1. Create your personal account
  2. Check email for organization invitation
  3. Click Accept Invitation
  4. Access organization tags and features

Create an Organization​

Start a team workspace:

  1. Sign up for personal account
  2. Upgrade to Pro or Enterprise
  3. Go to Settings → Organization
  4. Click Create Organization
  5. Invite team members

Troubleshooting​

Email Already Registered​

If you see this error:

  1. You may have an existing account
  2. Try Forgot Password to recover access
  3. Use a different email if intentional
  4. Contact support for account merge

Password Not Accepted​

Ensure your password:

  • Meets minimum requirements
  • Doesn't include your email
  • Isn't a commonly used password
  • Is entered correctly (check caps lock)

Links expire after 24 hours:

  1. Go to sign in page
  2. Enter your credentials
  3. Click Resend verification
  4. Use the new link

Can't Access Account After Sign Up​

  1. Ensure email is verified
  2. Double-check password
  3. Try password reset
  4. Clear browser cache
  5. Try incognito/private window

Security Tips​

Password Best Practices​

  • Use a unique password for tagd-ai
  • Consider a password manager
  • Don't share your password
  • Enable two-factor authentication

Account Protection​

After signing up:

  1. Verify your email immediately
  2. Enable two-factor authentication
  3. Add recovery options
  4. Review security settings

Mobile Sign Up​

On Phone or Tablet​

  1. Go to tagd-ai.com in mobile browser
  2. Tap Sign Up
  3. Same process as desktop
  4. Add to home screen for app-like experience

Install as App​

After signing up:

  1. Tap browser menu
  2. Select "Add to Home Screen"
  3. Access tagd-ai like a native app
