Interpreting Data

High Views, Low Engagement

If people view but don't interact:

  • Content may not match expectations
  • Page load time might be slow
  • Call-to-action may be unclear

Traffic Spikes

Sudden increases usually mean:

  • QR code was added to high-traffic location
  • Tag was shared on social media
  • Marketing campaign launched

Geographic Patterns

Unexpected locations might indicate:

  • Your QR codes are traveling (products shipped)
  • Content is being shared online
  • Potential unauthorized use

Mobile-heavy traffic suggests:

  • QR codes are working (phone scans)
  • Optimize for mobile experience
  • Keep content concise

Best Practices

Regular Review

  • Check analytics weekly
  • Look for trends and anomalies
  • Compare against previous periods

A/B Testing

Create multiple tags with different content:

  • Same QR code location
  • Track which performs better
  • Iterate based on data

Goal Setting

Define success metrics:

  • Target view counts
  • Engagement rates
  • Geographic reach

Troubleshooting

No Analytics Data

  • New tags need time to collect data
  • Ensure the tag has been viewed
  • Check if analytics are enabled

Missing Recent Data

  • Analytics may have up to 1-hour delay
